1. Who We Are
Ìpín-Àyànmọ́ ("the Platform", "we", "us") is a digital Ifá and destiny-guidance platform. For any privacy question, contact us at ase@ipinayanmo.com (replace with your real address).
2. Information We Collect
- Account data: your name, email address, and — if you sign in with Google — your Google profile name, email and picture.
- Reading data: the questions you ask, the Odu you cast, and the details you enter into our chambers (full name and birth date for Numerology, birth date/time/place for Natal Charts, partner details for Compatibility, and baby-naming details).
- Purchase data: credit packs bought and transaction references. We never see or store your card or bank details — payments are handled entirely by Paystack.
- Technical data: session tokens, language preference, device and browser information, and error logs.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To generate and save your divinations, prophecies, charts and readings to your dashboard;
- To process credit purchases and maintain your credit balance;
- To keep your account secure and provide customer support;
- To improve the Platform and comply with legal obligations.
4. AI & Third-Party Services
To deliver our services we share the minimum necessary data with trusted processors, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- AI providers (OpenAI / Google): receive your question and the Odu context to compose your prophecy;
- ElevenLabs: receives the prophecy text to generate the Oracle's voice;
- Google: provides secure sign-in;
- Paystack: processes all payments.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and local storage to remember your guest readings (ipin_session), language choice, and preferences. Google and Paystack may set their own cookies during sign-in or checkout. Our cookie banner lets you accept or limit non-essential storage.
6. Data Retention
Your readings remain in your account until you delete them or your account. Payment records are kept only as long as the law requires. Audio and AI prophecies are cached so you are never charged twice for the same reading.
7. We Do Not Sell Your Data
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
8. Security
Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted (HTTPS), and access to servers is restricted. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work diligently to protect your data.
9. Your Rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time, and you may withdraw cookie consent or close your account by contacting us. We honour all lawful requests (NDPR / GDPR).
10. Children
The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
